Dawn is a Fellow and Director of the Society of Designer Craftsmen (formerly, the Arts & Crafts Exhibition Society). and undertakes many curatorial roles, managing multidisciplined large exhibitions at presitgious venues across the country. Dawn also owns and runs an independent textile school teaching all levels for certificated courses in the creative arts. Dawn has for many years been part of the widely followed textile exhibition group, Studio 21. In addition Dawn has exhibited in collaboration with other artists
